Goalkeeper – David De Gea

It’s often hard to gauge the performances of a goalkeeper when he’s in a team of such mediocre form as the Red Devils, and that can certainly be said of David De Gea this season.

But the young Spaniard really came of age last year after initially struggling with the physical nature of the Premier League in his first term with Manchester United, and few would argue that De Gea is part of the problem at Old Trafford.

Just 23 years old and already a world-class shot-stopper, the former Atletico Madrid keeper looks set to remain United’s No.1 for the foreseeable future.
