The tweaks Mourinho must make to seal a win over Chelsea

Manchester United go into the weekend knowing a loss to Chelsea could see them drop down to fourth, but a win over the Blues would tighten their grip on a second place finish.

United have struggled for form of late, having started 2018 with only three league wins, and suddenly find themselves in real danger of falling out of the Champions League spots.

Much of the focus has been on Jose Mourinho and his relationship with Paul Pogba, or lack thereof. The French midfielder was withdrawn in the loss at Spurs and has been in and out of the team since. Pogba was benched again at Sevilla on Wednesday night, but replaced Ander Herrera in the first half because of an injury to the Spaniard.

Pogba will surely keep his place against Chelsea on Sunday, but where the Frenchman plays and in what system is once again anyone’s guess. One thing is for sure – Mourinho desperately needs three points to get the fans off his back and the team playing with some confidence again. So how can he do it? We look at the tweaks the Portuguese must make for this weekend’s heavyweight clash.
