Twitter reacts as Pogba and Ibra combine to give Man United controversial lead

Manchester United took the lead at Selhurst Park on the stroke of half-time against Crystal Palace and it came in pretty controversial circumstances through Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils, in fairness, have been the better side in this one with the Eagles not really looking like scoring in the first 45 minutes, but whilst the goal may have been deserved for United, the manner in which they got it was harsh on Palace.

A free-kick was met by Zlatan Ibrahimovic who tried to chest into the path of Paul Pogba, but guided the ball with his arm.

From that, he played Pogba in, but he was offside, and the Frenchman struck home from close range. As soon as the ball hit the net you could hear the Palace fans beginning to steam away.

It’s caused plenty of discussion on Twitter, too, and here are some of the best reactions…
