According to the Daily Star on Sunday, Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola will tell United he can broker a £100m deal for the Frenchman to move to Barcelona, and United must rival AC Milan for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if they do lose Pogba.

What's the story?

Pogba struggled to convince Jose Mourinho last season that he was worth the £89m United paid Juventus to bring him back to Old Trafford and the 25-year-old started just 25 Premier League matches.

The relationship between Pogba and his manager has deteriorated further this summer as, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the pair clashed over a party that Pogba hosted in Los Angeles during his extended holiday after winning the World Cup with France.

Now, according to the Star on Sunday, Raiola is ready to secure a move away from Old Trafford for his client with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Pogba's former club Juventus all interested.

An expensive replacement

Although he didn't always show it last season, Pogba proved in this summer's World Cup in Russia just how good he can be. Valued at £81m by Transfermarkt, it would be a difficult task for Mourinho to replace the 6ft 3in midfielder.

However, United have been heavily linked with a move for Lazio star Milinkovic-Savic this summer and any money received for Pogba could go straight towards a deal for the highly-rated Serbian international.

They would have to act fast though as Italian news outlet La Stampa have reported that AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso wants Milinkovic-Savic and has offered an initial loan deal worth £35.6million with a further £71.2m to complete his signing the following year.

A midfield general also valued at £81m by Transfermarkt, Milinkovic-Savic netted 14 goals in 47 games last season, provided eight assists and is perhaps the only man available who could replace Pogba this summer.
