Blackpool’s attacking midfielder Thomas Ince is reportedly closing in on a £6 million move to Manchester United.
The Blackpool starlet who has been in fantastic form this season has scored 6 goals in the first 8 appearances so far, looks set to follow in his father’s footsteps with a move to Old Trafford and the Premier League.
SunSport believes Ince Senior has been trying to push the move through, and it seems to have paid off as Sir Alex Ferguson wants to conclude a deal as soon as possible.
The England U21 player signed from Liverpool on a two year contract with his deal set to expire at the end of the campaign. Ince has drawn the plaudits and admiration during his stint with the tangerines, and was wanted by Swansea in the summer transfer window but subsequently turned them down to stay with Blackpool.
“It was flattening there was interest, as it shows you are doing something well,” Ince told the Daily Mail.
If the move goes ahead it could spell the end for Nani’s career at Old Trafford, with doubts about his long term future at the club as his contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Paul Ince was a fan favourite with the red devils, playing over 200 games for the club picking up two league titles in the process.
