Valencia keen on Manchester United ace

Javier Hernandez

Spanish side Valencia are preparing a bid for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to the Daily Mirror.

The southern La Liga side are set to sell main man Roberto Soldado to Tottenham for around £35million and so will hope to replace him with the Mexican Hernandez.

Valencia are in serious financial trouble but the big money sale of Soldado will keep them stable for a few more years and Hernandez will cost nowhere near that sort of money if they can lure United into negotiations.

Old Trafford boss David Moyes is keen to seek clarity on the Wayne Rooney saga before selling any other attacking players but Hernandez would relish the chance to play in Spain and finally get some regular first team football after spending most of his Untied career on the bench.

The 25 year old has to wait for both Soldado and Rooney to sort out their futures before any deal can be done but Valencia are confident they can get their man as their kick on with the start of their pre season.
