West Bromwich Albion have played down speculation about star forward Saido Berahino and insisted he is not for sale, according to the Daily Star.
The 22-year old Baggie has been linked with a host of big name Premier League clubs such as Tottenham, Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle in recent weeks.
Hawthorns director of football, Richard Garlick has insisted the Midlands outfit will resist attempts to lure the England Under-21 ace away from the club this January.
‘He is not a player we have identified as one we want to move.’
‘We can’t stop people if they want to bid, that’s up to them’, claimed Garlik.
Berahino was the subject of four failed bids from Spurs during the summer window and vowed to never play for the club again under current chairman Jeremy Peace.
However, he ultimately stayed at the Hawthorns, though he has suffered a dip in form this season as result of being in and out of the team.
Despite netting an impressive 20 times last season, he has scored just three times in this campaign thus far.
