Manchester United fans on Twitter can’t seem to agree over whether or not Ander Herrera will be missed or not, and also can’t seem to decide over if the decision to let him go was the right one.
Will OGS still be in charge of Man Utd come next May? The Flying Pig discusses in the video below…
United announced on their Twitter account that the former Athletic Bilbao man would be leaving the club in a farewell video. The Red Devils couldn’t get the 29-year-old to agree to fresh terms, as Herrera was reportedly demanding a weekly salary in excess of £200,000-a-week.
He is, however, one of the few players who seem to actually care about the club and gives his all on the pitch, the same of which cannot be said about a number of current first-team stars at the club.
Some aren’t fussed about his departure seeing as he basically held the club to ransom, whilst other supporters on Twitter feel that the decision to let him leave was a terrible one…
So many people upset over Herrera leaving. He’s a decent player, but won’t be missed at all. Will he remembered for spitting on Citys badge, that’s about it. He left us for more money, which I don’t blame him for. No chance he gets into the PSG first eleven.

Won’t be missed at all? ?? tell me who we realistically replace him with? Letting ander go on a free while handing out extensions to young, smalling & Jones shows exactly how much of a state our club is in..

Not sure what the fuss is about. He had about 5 decent games a season

everyone is replaceable, but what made Ander so special is that he was the only one in the last 5 years that wore our colors with pride both on & off the field & also because he always gave himself 110% what we the fans greatly appreciate and that’s why he will be missed !

I’m not. Cost plenty in the day and showed real promise but nerver was consistent. Bench player at best if we are to start winning. See ya ?

Hes gave 100% commitment every time he played. Mourinho tried to freeze him while he assembled the 7ft Harlam Globetrotters in midfield. Ole will be gutted along with alot of fans. ?

Thank you. I never got all the praise for Herrera

Don’t agree at all. Arguably the best player we had & now he’s going.
