The task is simple for Manchester United, match PSV Eindhoven’s result against the already eliminated CSKA Moscow and they’ll make it into the last 16 of the Champions League. Further to that, a win in Germany against Wolfsburg will see Louis van Gaal’s team top Group B, and, potentially, avoid a tricky tie in the first knockout round.
It all sounds simple on paper, but (cliché alert) the game isn’t played on that particular surface, with a tough 90 minutes in Europe waiting for LVG’s side against an impressive Wolfsburg outfit. Their rivals may not be the unit that won the Bundesliga not too long ago, but with players such as Andre Schurrle and Julian Draxler.

United are without the injured Wayne Rooney, but Anthony Martial is available to lead the line ahead of Juan Mata, Memphis Depay and Jesse Lingard, while Guillermo Varela starts, too.
