Liverpool were the surprise title challengers in the Premier League last season with many praising the manager and team cohesion as the reason for their remarkable campaign, but that doesn’t seem to be showing this time round.
That’s because the Reds were up there amongst the best due to one player, and that player is non-other than the bite-happy Luis Suarez.
His absence has been truly missed at Anfield, and he is now showing his class after serving a four-month football ban from sinking his teeth into Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup.
First he assisted Neymar in last weekend’s El Classico, and in a friendly last night he supplied another sublime assist by faking a shot before lobbing the ball with style in front of Gerard Pique – who headed the pass into an empty net.
If only Mario Balotelli could do that…
