Newcastle lead race for Manchester United outcast

Wilfried Zaha (Manchester United)Stoke, West Brom and Newcastle are keen to offer Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha a January exit route, according to reports from The Times.

The 20-year-old only arrived at old Trafford over the summer from Crystal Palace, but has struggled for game time under David Moyes.

Having been signed by Sir Alex Ferguson, the England international has been unable to convince his new boss of his abilities during a tough opening few weeks of the season.

As a result of his first-team woes, Newcastle, Stroke and West Brom are all keen to make loan moves for his signature once the transfer window re-opens.

It is expected that the Red Devils will let the youngster leave on a temporary basis due to having a wealth of options available in wide positions.

Zaha was thought of as one of the top talents outside of the Premier League prior to his switch to United, and was a key part of Crystal Palace promotion winning campaign.

The Eagles made a late move to take him back to Selhurst Park for this season, but saw their summer efforts spurned.

Zaha is believed to be keen to secure regular action in a bid to force his way into Roy Hodgson’s plans for the 2014 World Cup.

Does a loan move for Wilfried Zaha suit everyone involved?
