It’s that time of the week again, as Alan Shearer has named his best starting XI from the weekend’s action.
The Premier League was once again treated to some spectacular drama. Crystal Palace shocked Manchester United at Old Trafford, Liverpool dominated Arsenal at Anfield, while Harry Wilson and Harvey Barnes provided the pick of the goals.
However, neither Wilson nor Barnes make it into Shearer’s team this week.

The first thing to note is that the Match of the Day pundit has finally been able to give credit to his beloved Newcastle United after they beat Tottenham. Paul Dummett gets in at centre-back, while Steve Bruce is named as the manager despite the fact Shearer begged him not to take the job this summer.
Of course, you then have your usual suspects. Mohamed Salah is in after decimating David Luiz, David Silva gets a spot after assisting two strikes against Bournemouth, and Trent Alexander-Arnold is in at right-back after another excellent display from the England starlet.
Sebastien Haller got his first goals in a West Ham shirt, and he’s in the team after netting twice against Watford.
