Loads of Newcastle fans have been reacting to updates on the fitness of Mo Diame and Jonjo Shelvey, and they have one very clear message to Rafael Benitez.
Newcastle could be boosted by the returns of both Shelvey and Diame on Monday night, but fans want young Sean Longstaff to keep his place.
The Magpies travel to Molineux to take on a red-hot Wolves side on Monday, and The Chronicle claims both Diame and Shelvey are in contention to face the newly promoted side.

The pair have both been missing through the busy festive period, while Ki Sung-yueng has been both injured and occupied by international duty, leaving Longstaff to make his mark on the first team.
The 21 year-old has looked calm and composed since his debut at Anfield, and his performance in the win over Manchester City was nothing short of exceptional.
With Diame and Shelvey now returning, Benitez has three quality options to choose between for just two spots, but fans are making it extremely clear that Longstaff should keep his place.

His heart is with the club, he has black & white blood and it stands out a mile. Hope he’s kept in the team.

Lad deserves to retain his place in the starting XI. Cool, composed, strong, economical with the ball. Good to have competition for places for a change, but Longstaff should start.

Arguably the most positive thing about this January – a decent Academy prospect

Don’t get the love in with shelvey, very lazy & tries the worldy pass far to often which very rarely comes off, so it’s got to Diame & longstaff when Diames back to full fitness but until then don’t change anything

One of the best things to come out of this dreadful season, hope Rafa sticks with him.

Play the player in form. He’ll have a nice long rest before Wolves match so fatigue shouldn’t be an issue.

Harsh on the lad if he gets dropped, played so well. Make the seniors earn their place back.

Yep he’s the future of the club. Shows you how far we have fallen when Shelvey, Diame and Ki are classed as “big guns” haha.

100% play him. He’s been excellent and his performances should be rewarded and his place retained. It’s up to the others to work hard and take his place . Under no circs should it be a given
