The “Atomic Ant” would have been turned away from English football in the past for his small stature, standing at only 5’5. But Giovinco is a lively attacker who is capable of fashioning his own chances in and around the penalty area. His playing time will certainly be limited this season due to the arrivals of Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez at Juventus, though incidentally the Italian has seen more minutes than Llorente up until this point. But as the season goes on, his future may become more uncertain. He has a decent scoring record in Italy and would strengthen the attack at Newcastle.
