Arsene Wenger has called upon his Arsenal team to forget about the rivalry with Tottenham and concentrate on the task of getting themselves in the top four. The French manager isn’t concerned by Harry Redknapp’s side and felt Monday’s win didn’t suggest that they have anything to worry about. Wenger also called on supporters to be patient with Mertesaker, believing the German will come good in time.

Elsewhere in the news Anelka is offered a bumper pay day in China; Adebayor keen to stay at Spurs at the right price, while Bellamy is delighted to be back at Liverpool.
