As reported by Sky Sports, Newcastle are set to find it tough to hold onto on-loan attacker Kenedy this summer with clubs like Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain circling for his signature.
Kenedy has emerged as a favourite of Magpies fans since making the switch from Chelsea in January, but any hopes of signing him permanently at St James’ Park now look slim.
Sky Sports reckon even if Chelsea choose to sell the Brazilian that European giants are waiting in the wings to secure his future, with PSG and Bayern Munich both asking to be kept informed of his status.
Can Newcastle show serious ambition and secure his signature at the end of the season?
With two goals and two assists in eight appearances for Rafa Benitez’s side since January, Kenedy has made a decent impact at the club, involved in only one loss so far.
He excelled against Southampton recently in a high pressure match, scoring a double and demonstrating he has what it takes to perform when needed most.
Still just 22 years of age his potential is enormous at Premier League level so it’s no surprise to hear of massive clubs being interested.
Newcastle appears to be a good fit however and with more playing time at the Magpies than what he might get at bigger clubs, perhaps it’s not out of the question that Rafa Benitez can convince him his future lies in the north east.
