Just swap Gayle for Salomon Rondon and both parties will leave happy.

Seeing how both players seem to be at a similar level and not to mention have a pretty similar estimated cost, the fans have been adamant about this sort of swap deal going through. As per usual, things seem much less complicated to the social media fanbase than what they actually are.

To be honest, on the surface, it does seem like a swap deal might actually favour both West Brom and Newcastle and the fans' outcry might not be such a far fetched idea after all. It is definitely one that would see both sides walk away pretty happy considering that both heavyweights have had similar positive effects on their respective loan clubs this season.

Gayle has been especially proficient, bagging 24 goals and two assists in 40 Championship appearances while Rondon boasts 11 goals and seven assists from a total of 32 Premier League games played.
