Newcastle fans have been reacting to the news that the club’s owners will meet with fans in April, and let’s just say they’re not exactly optimistic.

If there’s one thing Newcastle fans can all agree on, it’s their opinion of Mike Ashley and the Newcastle board. That said, the club are set to host their latest “Fan’s Forum” in late April, a week before what could be a crucial clash with West Brom.

Of course, Newcastle could be well clear of the relegation scrap by then if they can pick up a few more wins, especially in their massive six pointer to come against Huddersfield later this month.

The last Fan’s Forum took place last summer, where much of the focus was on transfer activity. There is plenty on the agenda for this meeting too, as fans will want to know more about the takeover talks, and equally importantly Rafael Benitez’s future at the club.

The meetings have been extremely useful for the club, and have helped solve issues in the past on anything from fan welfare and ticket access all the way to the club’s transfer activity.

Still, it doesn’t seem like Newcastle fans are too hopeful of getting something positive out of the event, and many are suspicious of the timing of the announcement after two huge wins have lifted spirits on Tyneside.
