Tammy Abraham is reportedly set for a move away from Chelsea within the Premier League, but Newcastle fans are adamant they don’t want him.
According to The Bristol Post, Tammy Abraham will leave Chelsea this summer, and the 20 year-old wants to stay in the top tier.
The lanky striker has interest from a whole host of Championship clubs after he scored 23 goals for Bristol City in the 2016-17 season, but he is yearning for a move within the Premier League.
Newcastle were interested in the striker last summer, but he eventually opted to join Swansea on loan where he scored just five league goals.
The Magpies are of course on the hunt for a new striker this summer, so could revisit their interest now he’s available. Crystal Palace are also interested.
You can certainly see why Rafael Benitez might fancy Abraham, as he has the size to act as a powerful number nine but also the pace to get in behind teams.
Fans aren’t all that convinced about his quality though, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
