Loads of Newcastle fans have been reacting to an infuriating report in The Independent, as multiple football writers tipped Sam Allardyce to take over on Tyneside in the near future.
This summer was incredibly infuriating for Newcastle fans. The starting eleven has not improved as much as the teams around them, the squad depth is still horrifying, and worst of all Rafael Benitez has not signed a contract extension.
The last part is hardly surprising, as it’s doubtful there is another world class manager in the world that would put up with Mike Ashley for this long, let alone sign a new deal.

The Spaniard is waiting for guarantees about transfer spending, and the overwhelming feeling around Tyneside is that those guarantees are never going to arrive.
Given the precarious situation surrounding the club, two Independent writers have tipped Ashley to “go full circle” and hire Big Sam.
Chief sports writer Jonathan Liew and football writer Jack Pitt-Brooke both picked Newcastle as the former England gaffer’s next destination in The Independent’s season predictions piece.
The 63 year-old managed the Magpies for one season over a decade ago, and let’s just say fans are fearing the worst, as some even admit it’s not that far-fetched that Ashley could bring him back.

It won’t happen this season but it’s my prediction when Rafa leaves that that fat headed mess will be Newcastle manager again. Unfortunately!

Just thinking the same thing the other day when his massive heed was filling the screen on Goals On Sunday. God forbid. That really would be the end of our club.
