Allan Saint-Maximin is still on Newcastle United's radar, and if the latest reports coming from France are to be believed, the Magpies have received a boost in the chase for their long-time target.

According to L'Equipe, via GFFN, OGC Nice have lowered their asking price for the player from €40m to €25m (£35.9m to £22.4m) for two reasons.

Patrick Vieira allegedly wants to get rid of the player due to his bad behaviour, with the report citing Saint-Maximin's selfishness and lack of work ethic.

The Ligue 1 outfit have also set their sights on two wingers this summer, and want to sell the 22 year-old to raise funds.

But, of course, it is the first reason that has the Toon Army leaning against this swoop. The young winger averaged an incredible 4.2 dribbles per game last term, but the last thing fans want is a another player in the same vein as Hatem Ben Arfa.
