Lots of Newcastle fans have been weighing in on some of the various names linked with their vacant managerial post, and the mention of Burnley’s Sean Dyche has drawn quite the reaction.

By this time next week, Newcastle will officially be manager-less. The Magpies confirmed earlier this week that Rafael Benitez will not return when his contract ends on July 1, much to the dismay of the Toon Army.

And while some fans are talking about boycotts and protests in the wake of Benitez’s imminent departure, others are already discussing the Spaniard’s replacement.

One linked name is Dyche, who the Daily Mail claim Newcastle would have to splash out a huge £10m compensation fee to land.
