Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett has shared a positive fitness update on social media.
The left-back missed Newcastle’s 2-1 win over Burnley on Monday night with an injury that he picked up whilst representing Wales during the recent international break.
Indeed, Dummett landed awkwardly during Wales’ clash with Denmark, and was forced to leave the field in the first period.
Playmaker FC’s Matchday with Max caught up with Jamaica’s women’s team. See what happened when he met the history makers in the video below…
It had been unclear when the 27-year-old would be fit to return, but Dummett is back in training, which is a huge boost for a Newcastle team who are not exactly full of options in the full-back areas.
It remains to be seen whether the Welshman, who has made 10 Premier League appearances this season, is available to face West Ham United on Saturday afternoon, but he is destined to be involved in Newcastle’s festive matches.
