Reported Newcastle United target Kenedy was named in the Chelsea starting XI as they hosted Norwich City in their FA Cup third round replay tie at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, but Magpies fans were left more impressed with Josh Murphy's performance for the visitors and have urged their club to sign him instead.

The Chronicle reported last week that Rafa Benitez is keen to bring the Brazilian to Tyneside on loan, but having seen the 21-year-old in action against the Championship side the St James' Park faithful obviously aren't convinced.

Meanwhile, Josh Murphy – the twin brother of summer addition Jacob – impressed for the visitors playing as more of a striker, although he usually operates on the left wing – similarly to Kenedy.

Newcastle supporters were quick to have their say on the 22-year-old's display via social media, and while one said "rather sign the other Murphy than Kenedy", another said "I'd rather have Josh Murphy" when comparing the two.
