Fair play to Newcastle United attacker Ayoze Perez.

The Spaniard has revealed that he played against Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon just three days after his grandmother had passed away.

The 24-year-old played the full 90 minutes of his team's 3-0 win over the Saints, and was extremely impressive in a forward position.

On Monday, Perez took to Twitter to reveal that he featured despite a family tragedy, and the Newcastle fans, who are absolutely delighted with head coach Rafael Benitez at the moment, have been paying tribute to the former Spain Under-21 international.
