Loads of Newcastle fans have been reacting to a shocking transfer rumour, as the club is reportedly eyeing a deal to sign ex-Sunderland ace Fabio Borini.

According to reports in Italy, Newcastle have made a bid to sign Borini, who is completely out of favour at AC Milan.

The Italian striker, spent time with Liverpool, Chelsea, Swansea and Sunderland in the Premier League, has started just six Serie A games this season, failing to find a single goal.

Borini is versatile, fast, and can stick the ball in the back of the net if given the chance, but bringing him to Tyneside would certainly prompt a mixed reaction.

The 27 year-old, who has quite literally played every single outfield position except centre back since moving to Milan, scored 17 times in 93 games for Sunderland.
