Swansea moved up to second in the Championship with their win over QPR on Wednesday evening, and fans were blown away by the performance of Newcastle loanee Freddie Woodman.

The Swans came away from Loftus Road with all three points, as goals from Bersant Celina, Borja and Sam Surridge gave the visitors a 3-1 victory.

It’s not the goalscorers who are getting all the attention however, as Woodman dropped a goalkeeping master-class on the night.

He did concede just after the hour mark to a Jordan Hugill header, but the hosts produced a whopping 22 shots and seven corners, barraging the youngster’s goal all night.

The 22 year-old produced a brilliant save early on to deny Eberechi Eze and added a couple more stops after the break, but it was his command of his box that was really impressive.

Magpies goalkeeper Martin Dubravka attracted a shock link to Juvenus this summer, so could Woodman be the man in line to replace the Slovakian if he does eventually leave Tyneside?
