Jarrod Bowen is currently one of the biggest revelations in the Championship.
The 22-year-old forward has simply been on fire in 2019/20, bagging an incredible 17 goals and providing four assists in a total of just 24 games across all competitions.
Needless to say, he’s been among Hull City’s top performers and is seemingly just getting better and better with time.
And of course, with that red-hot form also comes the interest from some other, bigger fish on the footballing stage and a move to the Premier League might well be on the cards.

90min recently came out with an exclusive report, stating Newcastle are really interested in acquiring his services and are actually leading the line in front of some other top-flight clubs.
But just who is this 22-year-old revelation that’s causing such a turmoil down in the Championship?
To answer that question, we sought the opinions of those who know a little bit about him…
Colman is well versed in all things Hull City as he writes for both Hull Live and the Hull Daily Mail. As a result, he also knows quite a bit about Bowen and when talking to FoxesOfLeicester in a Q&A session, he spoke about the 22-year-old quite extensively.
Colman seems to believe Bowen is very much one of the hottest prospects in the Championship and his goal scoring return for a winger of such young age is just frightening.
Here’s what he said, as quoted by FoxesOfLeicester:
“He has to be among the Championship’s best players. I recently featured on a podcast and was asked where he would rank and I said he was third, something I still stand by.
“His return of goals for a winger is frightening at this level, especially given how he has only really had just over two seasons of regular senior football.
“He is a winger with a keen eye for goal and his positioning, desire and consistency are incredibly admirable.”
There are not many people out there who know Bowen better than his current manager, McCann.
And the 39-year-old Irishman is definitely a big fan of his young winger as he has praised him quite extensively just recently.
When speaking to Yorkshire Post, he showered him with compliments.
“Jarrod’s top class. In terms of goal-scoring from a wide player, he’s top, top drawer.
“Anywhere he plays, he’ll have an effect on the game. He delivers every weekend and, for me, he’s the best. He’s grounded. It’s not me over-hyping him, it’s there in black and white for everyone to see.
“We feel as if he’s getting better and better all the time. He’s the best in this league – honestly, he really is.
“He wants to play at the top level and, hopefully, it’s with us.”
Phillips is another pundit who holds Bowen in extremely high regard.
When talking about Leeds United’s potential transfer targets in the January transfer window, the former centre-forward stated that the 22-year-old Hull City winger would be an ideal candidate.
He even went as far as saying that his purchase could make the difference between Leeds getting promoted or not.
Here’s what he said in full on EFL on Quest (via Leeds Live):
“He’s a quality player and there’s a lot of talk about him moving on.
“His movement is very good and his technical ability. He’s a player who is going places.
“Dare I say it, put him in the Leeds team in January and he might be the difference between them getting promoted or not.”
Quite clearly, Bowen is hot property in the Championship and many believe that he has the quality to move up in the world and even go straight for the top.
Newcastle scooping the 22-year-old would definitely be a major coup for them but it remains to be seen whether the Magpies can actually get the deal over the line.
Meanwhile, many Spurs fans were impressed by one man’s brilliant display vs Burnley…
