Newcastle United fans witnessed a dramatic game on Tuesday night as the team came from 2-0 down to claim a 2-2 draw.
Rafael Benitez’s side were staring at their fifth defeat in a row when the Baggies struck on either side of half time.
The Magpies did not lose hope, though, as Ciaran Clark pulled a goal back for the team just before the half-hour mark.
An own goal from Jonny Evans gave Newcastle a much-needed point as the club sit just five points above the relegation zone.
Rolando Aarons has struggled for regular game time this season, making just three appearances in all competitions, the most recent of which was in midweek when the winger was brought on in the second half.
The 22-year-old was given just under half an hour to impress the manager, and while we do not know whether it was mission accomplished, it is clear that the young player pleased the fans.
After the match, Aarons took to Twitter.
Good point away from home. Thanks to our fans who came out ⚫⚪ #NUFC
