Newcastle are on the hunt for a new right winger this summer, but is Adama Traore the answer?
Newcastle fans have been debating a move for Middlesbrough’s Adama Traore, and it seems an overwhelming majority would back a move for the Spaniard.
Last week, the Mirror reported that Newcastle were one of three teams chasing a deal for Traore, along with Everton and Chelsea.
This is not the first time the Magpies have been linked to a right-sided attacker and it certainly won’t be the last, as reports this week claim they are interested in Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes.
Fans are desperate for Rafael Benitez to get the backing he so clearly deserves this summer, and Traore would be an excellent starting point for the Magpies to kick off their summer business.
The 22 year-old is matched only by PSG’s Neymar in dribbles per game this season, completing a truly remarkable 7.3 dribbles per game in the Championship, including 13 in Saturday’s playoff loss to Aston Villa.
The speedy winger can play on both wings, and has also added end product to his game this season, grabbing five goals and ten assists.
Newcastle fans have been voting whether or not to move for the youngster, and a whopping 73 per cent of fans would back a move.
