Newcastle United have been getting linked to numerous wingers in the media over the past few weeks.
It has been widely reported that Matt Ritchie is on his way to Stoke City, which opens up a spot in Rafael Benitez’s team.
Andros Townsend has been heavily touted as a possible target, despite the fact that he left the Magpies to join Crystal Palace just two years ago.
The Sun on Sunday (June 8, page 60) recently reported that Newcastle will make a move for Aston Villa’s Albert Adomah if their pursuit of Townsend comes to nothing.
Adomah has no Premier League experience, but he has been a crucial member of Villa’s team over the past two seasons.

In the 2017-18 campaign, the 30-year-old contributed with 14 goals, and 15 in all competitions, and five assists in 42 appearances to help the Midlands club reach the Championship playoff final.
Unfortunately for Adomah and the rest associated with Villa, the club lost 1-0 to Fulham, failing to claim a place back in the top flight.
We asked you if the Ghana international was worth the risk, and the majority of Newcastle fans are not keen on the idea.
