Remy Cabella

Newcastle need a creative replacement for Yohan Cabaye, and it seems that the club’s first pick to fill the void is well-documented transfer target Remy Cabella.

The Montpellier talisman would be a significant signing for the Tyneside outfit; he’s claimed ten goals and five assists in 30 appearances this season, and not long ago was hotly linked with a move to Manchester United.

Having consistently impressed since emerging from the MHSC youth ranks, a summer departure for the 24 year-old appears inevitable.

But outspoken club chairman Laurent Nicollin appears to be playing hardball; he’s branded Tyneside as ‘boring’ and landed Cabella with an £86million price-tag earlier in the season, so luring him away from Stade de la Mosson will be no easy task.
