The majority of Newcastle United fans will arguably be focusing on the potential players that Rafael Benitez could bring in.

However, there are some faces that the supports are keen to push out of the club.

Jack Colback and Achraf Lazaar have tumbled down the pecking order and there does not seem to be any way back for the pair.

Colback did not play a single game for the Magpies last season as he spent the campaign on loan at Nottingham Forest.

During that time, the midfielder made just 16 appearances in the Championship, scoring one goal.

There were murmurs that Colback could join the club on a permanent deal, but at the moment, he remains on Newcastle's books.

As for Lazaar, he had a worse time on loan as he made just nine Serie A outings for Benevento.

Both have returned to Newcastle, but The Chronicle reported on Saturday that they have been dumped into the reserve team for pre-season training.

The publication's Twitter page asked fans whether they would give the pair another chance at the club, and the supporters were having none of it.
