The FIVE transfers on Pardew’s wishlist at Newcastle?

Following a rather dismal campaign from Newcastle United, the pressure is on Alan Pardew ahead of next season to turn the Tyneside club’s fortunes around and get them into the top half of the Premier League table.

Whilst there is little excuse for the Magpies 6-0 defeat to Liverpool in the last few weeks of the season, the worst result at St. James’ Park since 1925, their is no doubt that the difficulties they’ve endured this year have been made even harder following the departure of Demba Ba, Newcastle’s leading goalscorer this season, while Papiss Cisse has found the net just eight times in his countryman’s absence.

Therefore, bringing in some added quality to Newcastle’s strike force will be a priority, with rumours that cult hero Shola Ameobi could also be looking for pastures new due to a lack of game time.

With that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of the FIVE forwards already in Alan Pardew’s, Mike Ashley’s and Graham Carr’s thinking, who could soon become summer recruits at St. James’ Park.
