Three more signing expected at Newcastle, Benitez in major overhaul

Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is eager to add THREE more signings before the end of the transfer window, according to the Chronicle Live.

The Magpies chief has already added six new signings to his ranks amid a major overhaul on Tyneside following their relegation into the Championship.

Dwight Gayle, Matz Sels, Isaac Hayden, Matt Ritchie, Jesus Gamez and Grant Hanley have arrived, while a number of big name players have departed.

Ahead of their season opener at Fulham next week, the Spaniard is thought to be eager to add at least one midfielder, as a replacement for want-away midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Brighton’s Anthony Knockaert is said to be on the radar, while Tottenham starlet Alex Pritchard is reportedly on the radar.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea coach is also understood to be chasing another striker and a defender as he plots his promotion push at St. James’ Park.
