According to ChronicleLive, Chelsea have quoted Newcastle United £30m for Kenedy, who has struggled to contribute during the 2018-19 campaign.

The 23-year-old impressed on loan at Newcastle in the second half of last term and returned to St James' Park ahead of the current season.

Kenedy has found it difficult to make his mark in his latest loan spell, though, managing just one goal in 26 appearances in all competitions.

The Brazilian has not even made the squad for Newcastle's last three Premier League matches during a tough period for the attacker.

Despite his struggles, ChronicleLive have claimed that Chelsea want £30m for Kenedy in this summer's transfer window.

And as expected, a number of Newcastle fans have been on social media laughing off the claim.

Kenedy proved last season that he is capable of being a force in the Premier League, but it would be a huge surprise if the Magpies pursued a permanent deal at the price currently being quoted.
