The last time Liverpool visited Carrow Road they ran out 3-2 winners to go five points clear at the top of the Premier League, with just three games left to play – it was after that game when it all went so terribly wrong.
Two years on and Liverpool are a different animal, a weaker one that’s struggling to identify its true self under new guidance and with new personnel.
Jurgen Klopp has had an indifferent start to life on Merseyside. Inconsistency has been Liverpool’s down fall this season but they’ll be looking bounce back from their late 1-0 defeat to rivals Manchester United this weekend.
Alex Neil’s Norwich have invested will this January, bringing in Timm Klose from Wolfsburg and Steven Naismith from Everton and be hoping both can play a part in improving their current record of losing nine of their last 11 meetings with Liverpool.
This weekend the Canaries will be looking to avoid a third consecutive Premier League repeat, while Liverpool will want to record their first league win of 2016 after one draw and two defeats so far.
