It’s not often you describe a 1-1 draw as a thriller but Liverpool’s trip to Stamford Bridge on Saturday was precisely that. The Reds and Chelsea duked out an affair that combined intensity with quality, even if it didn’t result in a healthy supply of goals.

In fact, following on from Eden Hazard’s first-half strike, it would take until the 89th minute for Liverpool to find the net, with Daniel Sturridge hitting a late wonder goal against his former club that saw the ball curl beyond Chelsea’s helpless Kepa into the top corner.

21-cap Dutchman Virgil van Dijk was nothing short of monstrous at the back, winning five aerial duels, making eight clearances and having the most touches of the ball of any player on the pitch, while Roberto Firmino – who Transfermarkt value at £72million – was unlucky not to equalise sooner with David Luiz clearing his header off the line.

So, Liverpool fans, who was your Man of the Match from the point earned in west London? Let us know by taking part below and giving each player a performance rating out of ten…
