Everton after Pepe

Everton's transfer haul this summer is made up of two names: Andre Gomes and Jonas Lossl. Marco Silva has interest in others as well, such as Kurt Zouma and Malcom, as he attempts to add get his squad for the next campaign, and he is now reportedly interested in another player. According to The Telegraph, the Toffees are keen on Lille's Nicolas Pepe. The 24-year-old would cost the club a record fee of around €65m (£58.5m) should they be able to take him to Goodison Park. The winger was in stellar form for the French club last season, scoring 23 goals and registering 12 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

Arsenal to return with Zaha bid

Arsenal have already made one bid for Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha, but that hasn't put them off in their efforts to take the Ivory Coast international to the Emirates Stadium. The Sun is reporting that the Gunners are going to bid £40m plus three players for the 26-year-old. Calum Chambers, Mohamed Elneny and Carl Jenkinson are the three who they hope will convince the Eagles to agree to sell the winger. The former Manchester United man impressed last season, scoring 10 goals in 34 games for a Palace side that finished in the bottom half of the league table.

West Ham eye Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain did not exactly set the world alight whilst on loan at Chelsea during the second half of the last term, scoring five goals in 18 games during his sixth months at Stamford Bridge. However, it seems that the Blues' London rivals West Ham have seen enough to pursue the Juventus striker. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Hammers would like to take the Argentinian international back to the Premier League, initially on a loan deal, with the option to keep him on a permanent basis. However, the Serie A club are looking to sell him, with a fee of €40m (£35.9m) mentioned.
