Speculation continues around the 20 Premier League clubs as they look to fine-tune their squads ahead of the new campaign. Today's transfer roundup for the English top tier includes an update on Manchester United's pursuit of Harry Maguire, Spurs' interest in Tanguy Ndombele and Chelsea's resolve over Willian.

Pereira for Maguire mooted

It is now no secret that Leicester City's Harry Maguire on Manchester United's radar. The Foxes have recently slapped a huge £90million on the England international's head, but whilst the fee is deemed a lot by the Red Devils, it has not put them off attempting to bring the centre-back to Old Trafford.

The latest update, as per the Sun, claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co could offer midfielder Andreas Pereira to Leicester as part of the deal. It has come to United's attention that Brendan Rodgers is a big fan of Pereira, and the Sun also added to their report that the Northern Irishman even tried to take him to Celtic during his time in Scotland.

Ndombele fee set

Tanguy Ndombele is one of Tottenham's top transfer targets as Spurs look to add to their squad for the first time since January last year. The Lilywhites have already made a bid of £60m for the Lyon midfielder, but that was not successful, and it has now emerged that the French side have told Spurs they will need to pay £63m to take him to North London.

Ndombele himself has not ruled out a move to Tottenham having recently said that he would be interested in a switch.

Willian bids rejected

Chelsea's two-window transfer ban means that they are unable to bring in new players for next season. On the other hand, they cannot afford to lose the star players they already have. It therefore comes as little surprise that the Blues have rejected bids from both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for Brazilian international Willian.

Both sides are reported to have offered £35m for the winger, but Chelsea have not entertained either approach. However, Willian has just one year left on his contract so it remains to be seen whether Roman Abramovich and co have a change of heart before the end of this summer's transfer window if an improved bid comes in.
