Thursday's Premier League transfer roundup was comprised of Everton's interest in a Ligue 1 ace, a new bid from Arsenal for Wilfried Zaha and West Ham's pursuit of Gonzalo Higuain. Today's edition features La Liga interest in a Liverpool star, the Hammers' bid for a Bundesliga goal-getter and Manchester United's prepared offer for a Super Lig player.

Van Dijk enquiry made

Liverpool have so far been very quiet in the summer transfer window, with just Sepp van den Berg having joined the Merseyside outfit. And the latest reports do not suggest that there will be anyone else joining soon. Instead, they are focusing on potential departures. According to The Mirror's John Cross, the Reds received an enquiry from FC Barcelona in regards to their record signing Virgil van Dijk. However, the Dutch international's representatives quickly told the Catalan club that the 28-year-old was not interested in a move to La Liga.

West Ham make Haller bid

West Ham have been linked with a number of strikers this summer. Gonzalo Higuain, Andrea Belotti and Diego Costa are just three forwards who the Hammers have been linked to. And now, a new name has cropped up. According to RMC journalist Loic Tanzi, the London outfit have made a €38m (£34.1m) offer for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller. The fee is apparently in the region where it would satisfy the Bundesliga club. As of yet, it is unknown whether the Europa League semi-finalists have given a response in regards to the move for the 20-goal striker.

United prepare Yazici bid

Manchester United have already made two signings during this transfer window, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still has around a month to add other faces should he wish to. One player who could be coming in is Trabonzspor's Yusuf Yazici according to Turkish outlet Asist Analiz. The Red Devils are preparing an offer of €27m (£24.2m) for the 22-year-old. The deal will also include an extra €4m (£3.6m) in add-ons. The attacking midfielder played 34 times for his club last season, scoring four goals, and he has also been capped 14 times by Turkey during his career.
