Proof that Man United gaffer’s experiment isn’t working

Louis van Gaal did it again. Despite many of the Red Devils faithful calling for the Dutchman to stop persisting with Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney in midfield, LvG opted for the strike partnership of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao against West Ham United, with Wazza in a deeper role.

Prior to yesterday’s game, the former Everton man had 10 goals in his previous nine Premier League games against the Hammers – including that absolute worldie last season from around the halfway line – but, still, such impressive stats weren’t enough to convince United’s former Bayern Munich gaffer to stop persevering with Falcao and van Persie up top.

Rooney, as so often has happened since the turn of the year, had another anonymous game – much like his fellow superstars – and you have to wonder just how long it will be until van Gaal admits defeat with this whole Rooney at CM? Especially with Falcao fluffing his lines again and Rooney failing to hit the target once so far in 2015!
