Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has compared the qualities of Harry Kane and Alexandre Lacazette ahead of Saturday's derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Kane has been in scintillating form for Spurs having netted 13 times in all competitions.

The England international also enjoys scoring in North London clashes having found the back of the net in each of the last four meetings.

Lacazette will be experiencing his first derby at the Emirates on Saturday lunchtime following his club-record £52m switch to Arsenal in the summer.

The forward has scored six goals so far, but has only started six of his eight appearances in the Premier League.

Campbell, who came through the Arsenal ranks before leaving in 1995, has broken down the differences between the two forwards.

The 47-year-old, who also played for Everton in his career, told the Daily Star:

"Kane is an all-action player. He’ll go and forage for himself, he can link up play and he’ll shoot from distance. Lacazette relies on being served the ball, he’s a poacher, he's like a fox in the box, very sharp. He relies on [Alexis] Sanchez and other creative players to feed the ball to him."

Three of the last four derbies have ended in draws, but in the most recent outing, Tottenham were the victors as they claimed a 2-0 triumph.
