Tottenham Hotspur fans have had their say on who should tackle Manchester United from right-back on Sunday, with 40% of those who voted calling for Kyle Walker-Peters to get the nod.
Walker-Peters has been in and out of the Spurs first-team throughout his senior career, and found himself dropped once again despite assisting a hat-trick of goals on Boxing Day against Bournemouth.
The youngster returned to Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI for last weekend’s FA Cup trip to Tranmere, albeit in an unnatural left wing-back role, and the Lilywhites fans who voted are crying out for the academy graduate to retain his place against United.

Football FanCast raised the question ahead of the Red Devils arriving in North London, as we wanted to know if Walker-Peters had shown enough to edge the likes of Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier, despite the Ivorian netting a brace from the right-hand side at Prenton Park.
There is a lot of doubt over who will start on Sunday as each of Pochettino’s regulars continue to show a lack of depth in their defending, which Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will only highlight amidst their resurgence under an attacking manager.
Trippier, in particular, has shown a worrying level of form since his key role in England’s World Cup bid, but retains the faith of a large percentage of the Tottenham faithful – the 28-year-old earned 38% of the votes.
Altogether, 21-year-old Walker-Peters’ 40% narrowly edged his elder team-mate, while Aurier limped home with 22% of the votes.
