Liverpool have arguably been only second to Manchester City in terms of attacking verve this season. While that's largely down to Jurgen Klopp's dynamic, technical and ambitious philosophy, it's also been sourced from four key personnel - Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Dubbed the 'fab four', Liverpool's forward cast are frightening when they get going. But Klopp has shown a surprising reluctance to use all four at the same time this season - perhaps a necessity amid the hectic winter period, perhaps a consequence of how they can leave the Reds more open in defence.

So ahead of Liverpool's trip to the Emirates Stadium this Friday night, where Arsenal have won eight of nine top flight games so far this season, we asked Reds supporters a curious question; if Klopp were to only play three of the fab four against the Gunners, who should start and who should miss out?

Interestingly, our poll wasn't as close as expected. While Coutinho, Salah and Firmino received just eight downvotes between them, Mane picked up more than double that total on his own. Clearly, Liverpool fans think the Senegal international is the most expendable member of the Reds' fab four - and the member least suited to Friday night's Premier League clash.
