Revealed: Wolves fans split over whether Leander Dendoncker should start vs West Ham

Having made a whole host of signings this summer, not everybody has been able to make their mark on Nuno Santo’s Wolves team just yet.

Despite arriving at Molineux with preceding reputations, perhaps the two signings fans were most curious about – Adama Traore and Leander Dendoncker – are yet to start for the Midlands outfit in the Premier League. Dendoncker, in fact, hasn’t even made Nuno Sanot’s bench in the top flight so far.

But both started the Carabao Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek and considering central defence has been pin-pointed by many as Wolves’ weakest department, we recently asked supporters whether the Belgium international should keep his place for the trip to West Ham this weekend.

Our poll has revealed that Wolves fans are really divided on the issue; although 46% would give Dendoncker the nod against the Hammers, 54% seemingly don’t think the 6 foot 2 defender-cum-midfielder is ready to start in the Premier League just yet.
