Rio Ferdinand has kept himself busy since retiring from football in 2015.

Retirement for the former Manchester United centre-back has included forays into the music and film industries, time spent in digital media and work as a published author, with four published books to his name.

Of course, he’s been a prominent fixture on BT Sport’s football coverage as well, where he has served as a pundit since 2015.

Ferdinand’s latest venture, for which he is credited as an executive producer, takes viewers to East London and to the story of Lea Valley Rangers, a Sunday League football club who are to play their most crucial match in recent history against Forest Road Athletic.

90 Minutes, released today (April 1) and directed by Simon Baker, comes as the next step into the feature film industry for Ferdinand, who has previously worked on documentaries with the likes of the BBC and also served as executive producer for the 2008 film, Dead Man Running, which featured actor Danny Dyer and rapper 50 Cent.

We went to the premiere of 90 Minutes two weeks ago and were very impressed with it, and now it's your turn to see what it's all about as the film is now now available on DVD and to download via Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play and Sky Store.
