The Premier League trio have all been linked with the German youngster of late, after being impressed by his consistent displays in the Bundesliga.
Despite being just 20-years-of-age, Draxler is already a key fixture for his club side and has even emerged on the international stage – despite his nation having a wealth of attacking midfield options.
With Schalke unable to offer him a guaranteed shot at securing silverware on a regular basis, the playmaker has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
Although he admits that he has close ties with them, he says that he would be open to a transfer in the not too distant future:
“I owe Schalke a lot, I have always been at Schalke. I need to emphasise this. But I ‘m not so rooted here that I could not tear myself away.” He is quoted by The Express.
Draxler went on to say that his desire is to play for one of Europe’s biggest clubs, mentioning Arsenal, Chelsea and United as possible destinations:
“I can honestly say that it is my dream to play for one of the big clubs at some point.
“You don’t have to be playing for the very top club’s in Europe to draw attention to yourself, but if you want to achieve the great goals that the world-class players have, then one of them is playing at the biggest clubs in the world.”
“The big two in Spain, Real and Barcelona, ??Bayern and a few others from England, namely Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.”
Could Julian Draxler be a Premier League success?
