The Senegalese forward has developed a reputation as one of Italian football’s top rising stars over the course of the past few years after breaking into La Viola’s first-team.
Despite having only turned 20 earlier this year, the powerful forward has made many appearances both in Serie A and Spain’s top tier.
Due to Fiorentina having a number of attacking options this season, Babacar is currently on loan with Modena to gain further experience.
Arsenal have been linked with his signature for some time, but West Ham have recently emerged as candidates to snap up the starlet.
But, Babacar says that a move to the Gunners to work under Arsene Wenger would be more desirable than a switch to Upton Park.
“It is very encouraging when you are linked with clubs such as Arsenal, they are one of the best teams in the world and they do great things with young players,” he is quoted by The Express.
“The manager there has such a good reputation to develop talent, but I am under contract with Fiorentina so they will have to decide if I have to go to England.
“I heard about West Ham through my agent, but they have not made anything official yet.”
Should Khouma Babacar hold out for Arsenal? Or would a move to West Ham be a good option?
