Sheffield United found themselves 1-0 down against AFC Bournemouth on what was looking like a grim day for those in attendance.
However, Billy Sharp brightened it up for those at Bramall Lane, as he found himself in the perfect position to stab the ball over the line – just as he had done at the Vitality Stadium at the beginning of the season.
This set the Blades on their way to winning the game, via a John Lundstram finish, while also leaving many of their fans swooning over him.

There was plenty of appreciation for his goalscoring touch, with one fan even comparing him to Gerd Muller, while another declared “he scores goals”.
Looking at his overall record for United, it is hard to argue against the suggestion that he gets goals, as he has 104 from 259 appearances, adding a further 33 assists.
Therefore, it won’t be a surprise to too many that it is the 34-year-old who got the team back on level terms.
He scores goals.

Fans have also been praising him in a more general sense, with one fan exclaiming that the striker has a “foundation forged in steel”.
There were indications of the impact he can have in general play against Bournemouth, as he had a pass success rate of 88%, while completing both of the dribbles he attempted and winning three aerial duels.
Sharp is someone who is very fondly regarded among Sheffield United fans, and his contribution to this game will only enhance that.
